The Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue proudly provides a broad range of services to the City of Hampton residents and visitors. We operate from 10 strategically located fire stations with more than 300 career and volunteer members. In 2008, the Fire Division responded to more than 22,880 incidents.
The City of Hampton has grown to become a dynamic city. As the City continues to change, the Fire and Rescue Division is also changing to meet the diverse needs of the community. This is accomplished by: (1) continuous review and upgrade of our service delivery processes, policies, and technological capabilities; (2) harnessing the energy, creativity, and professionalism of all career and volunteer members; (3) ensuring that all our members have the tools, training, and work environment to support changes and provide quality service and care to the community at large.
The men and women of our organization are committed to providing skilled responses to all types of emergencies. Through continuous training, efficient and effective operations, advanced equipment and a commitment to our mission, we are prepared to meet the changing needs of our City.
