Fire Corps

Fire Corps, one of the five federally developed Citizen Corps programs, was created to help coordinate volunteer activities to make our communities safer, stronger and better prepared to respond to any emergency situation.

Dynamic.Flexible...Responsive
Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue require a variety of skills. You will be interviewed to determine your skills, talents and knowledge: then, a program coordinator will try to match your skills to an appropriate assignment. For example, if you’re a graphic designer, the fire department may ask you to help design a brochure. If you're a software expert, you may be asked to help improve the department’s information system.
