The City of Hampton is hosting a FEMA Insurance Agents Workshop, which will be conducted by Rick Waalkes, on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM in the Public Works Training Room, 550 North Back River Road, Hampton, VA 23669. Participants should arrive by 8:30AM for check-in. Seating is limited to 46, so early registration is required. Agents will receive continuing education credits. The objectives of the class are as follows:
"At the end of this course, the student will have a fundamental understanding of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The student will understand the general rules, review policy coverage, provide basic rating information and program eligibility."
