The Brandon Developmental Assets Award awarded in 2003 to people and organizations who strive to help Hampton's young people succeed by intentionally using the developmental assets concept in their interactions with youth. Named after
Brandon the Mobilization's mascot, it celebrates those who embrace asset building and are practicing it, sharing it and promoting it as part of their daily lives.
