A Community Commitment to Youth - The coalition's first document, endorsed by City Council in 1993, that sets a goal of a child and youth-friendly city supporting the healthy development of all young people. This commitment is part of the Coalition Plan of Action, published and adopted in 1993 as the city’s first Youth Master Plan, available from the Coalition office. Foundation for the Future - A comprehensive policy paper endorsed by Hampton City Schools and Hampton City Council, March 2003, that outlines specific outcomes for a comprehensive city-wide approach to the first two decades of life. Future Search Conference - Proceedings of the conference that explored Youth Development in Hampton 2010 and set a vision for Hampton's youth agenda. Hampton Community Plan - Hampton's official planning document promotes strategic investments to ensure the healthy development of children and youth, including a focus on the 40 Developmental Assets, and a section planned and written by young people. |
