Asset #23 - Homework.

When we learn something new, we grow, change, and expand our horizons. This is true whether one is 2, 14, or 60. The commitment- to- learning assets are built for children and youth through adults' attitudes, encouragement, involvement, and modeling. Young people look to their parents, neighbors, teachers and youth workers to learn new information, ideas, and perspectives. Together, these adults help children develop good study habits and attitudes to become lifelong learners. For kids, consistently completing homework assignments is a cornerstone of their commitment.
