Friday, November 11, 2005 Asset # 26 - Caring. Bullying has become an increasing school and neighborhood problem. Some bullying involves physical behaviors - pushing and hitting. Others are quieter, such as spreading rumors or deliberately excluding others. Your teens can help stop the bullying when they see it happening. Make it clear that you expect them to refuse to take part in this hurtful behavior. Encourage them to take a stand and to report incidents to a responsible adult. They are sending a message that they care about what happens around them. They will create change. Support them all along the way.
