Dwight Eugene Stephenson 1989 Hall of Fame Inductee The former Hampton High School and University of Alabama Football Center is considered by many as being "The Best at his Position" in the National football League. In his ninth season with the Miami Dolphins, the lineman has been a member of the All-NFL Team seven times. He was a second-round draft choice by the Dolphins in 1982 after a brilliant career under the late Paul "bear" Bryant at the University of Alabama. Bryant labeled his lineman as the "Greatest Center I Have Ever Coached." In 1985, he was the PSC's "Man of the Year". In 1987, he was the most decorated Dolphins' player, receiving all sorts of NFL and national honors. |
