Norman Snead rewrote Wake Forest and Atlantic Coast conference passing records. In 1960, he made the time All-American team as quarterback and played in The Blue-Cray, All-American, College All-Star games and 1964 and 1965 Pro Bowls. He set most Philadelphia Eagle pass records.
