Ronald Curry

Curry was one of the most decorated athletes in Peninsula history, earning All-American and national player of the year honors in football and basketball at Hampton High School. His teams won three state football championships and one in basketball. Curry played quarterback at the University of North Carolina for four years, setting school records for total offense and passing yards. He converted to wide receiver in the NFL and has played six seasons with the Oakland Raiders.
