Fall Hampton Clean Business Award Winner

The Phoebus Coffee House received the Hampton Clean Business Award at the Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forum in Yorktown on November 4th.

The award was presented to the owner, Anne Doop, by Hampton Clean City Commission Board Member and Clean & Green Businesses Committee Chair John Golden. The award was based on the environmentally sound practices that govern the operations of the business, community environmental education efforts, and the exterior landscaping and maintenance.

Awards also were presented to workplaces in James City County, Newport News, and York County at the Forum.
