Hampton Seniors Need Yard Work Assistance
from Churches, Synagogues and Mosques
June 7, 2011
The Adult Services Division of Hampton Social Services is looking for churches and other faith institutions to help elderly citizens with lawn care. Many times older residents can obtain assistance for many of their needs, but lawn care assistance is an area that has proven to be difficult for them. If your faith group is interested in helping elderly residents with their yard work (mowing, weeding, raking, perhaps even planting some flowers), please contact Barbara Stewart at 757.728.2120.
When all the yards in the city are well kept, our city is more beautiful on the whole. Please consider adding this element to your outreach efforts! Feel free to forward to others who may be interested.
