Employee Learning and Career Development
Every City of Hampton employee shares a common responsibility to support the City's mission to make Hampton the most livable city in Virginia. We strive to achieve this vision in an ever-changing landscape, because as life changes so do the needs of our citizens and our City. Such continuous change demands continuous learning. The City offers many challenging learning opportunities and asks that employees actively participate in adding value to their careers, the citizens we serve, and the City organization.
The Department of Human Resources seeks to inspire and support continuous learning. We invite employees to partner with us in achieving their career goals and satisfaction.
