About the IT Governance Board
The IT Governance Board activities are essential to ensuring that IT projects meet the business goals of the city. The board meets on a regular basis to discuss and make decisions on IT projects, policies and standards.

Purpose of the IT Governance Board
  • Recommend and approve technology standards
  • Recommend and approve technology policy
  • Manage technology funds such as the Innovations Pool and Technology Replacement Fund
  • Review IT operations and plans and provide guidance

The IT Governance Board activities are essential to ensuring that IT projects meet the business goals of the city. The board meets on a regular basis to discuss and make decisions on IT projects, policies and standards.

 
IT Governance Board Membership

The IT Governance Board members are generally department heads and are appointed by the City Manager.

Director’s Reports

The IT Department works with the IT Governance Board on strategic IT initiatives, policies and strategic plans.   In addition, the department proactively manages the system and project portfolio for the City.   Periodic director’s reports communicate progress on major projects, strategic initiatives, policies and changes in the portfolio.
