Hampton Budget Survey Available Online
Residents Can Give Input from Comfort of Home

As part of its citizen engagement effort in the budget process, the City of Hampton is offering residents the convenience of proving input via an online survey.

This week the City kicked off its budget planning effort with Budget Week, several days of opportunities for citizens to give input regarding city services they value through polling and discussion. The two remaining Budget Week events are:

  • Thursday, March 3; 7:00PM - 9:00PM;
    Jones Magnet Middle School, 1819 Nickerson Boulevard

  • Saturday, March 5; 9:00AM - 11:00AM;
    Hampton Teen Center, 300 Butler Farm Road

The online survey gives residents the opportunity to take the same poll offered at Budget Week events.

Hampton invites its residents to get engaged at www.hamptonvalues.com! In addition to Budget Week and the online survey, the City offers a variety of ways for residents to have their voices heard such as online chats and Facebook discussions. Residents can also call 727-6392 to schedule a chat for their civic organization or other group.
