Residents can Get Schooled on Hampton

The City of Hampton invites residents, realtors, employees and anyone who wants to learn more about the city to sign up for its free Neighborhood College Hampton 101 Series. In just three short weeks, participants will discover new resources, explore potential partnerships and become an expert on Hampton.

Hampton 101 features eight interactive sessions taught by City leaders and staff, designed to help participants gain a greater understanding of Hampton. Sessions topics include Hampton's vision, community development, public safety, community resources and youth and education. The series also includes a bus tour of the city.

As an added benefit, realtors who complete the college receive the exclusive "Hampton Preferred Realtor" designation and will be listed on the City of Hampton's website.

Neighborhood College begins Monday, April 18. Those interested can register online at www.hampton.gov/neighborhoods/college/hampton101_reg.php, call 757.727.6460 or email Sabrina Carr at scarr@hampton.gov or Cindy Woolwine at cwoolwine@hampton.gov.
