History

The Hampton Neighborhood Office is a city department that provides management and staffing to the Neighborhood Initiative and provides staff as consultants to neighborhood organizations in building their capacity to improve neighborhoods. This department was created in 1993 after the city set forth in its strategic plan that healthy neighborhoods would be a priority as it is critical to the future of Hampton.
