When you buy a house in Bailey Park you buy a community as well as single family homes with a mix of older citizens and young military families. The superior construction of the homes includes large front porches designed with getting to know your neighbors in mind. Bailey Park is centrally located and although a new housing development, it has the feel of an older 1920's neighborhood. Beautiful streetscapes and unique housing styles give it that old time neighborhood feel.

HISTORY:
Named after the neighborhood in the movie classic, "It's A Wonderful Life", Bailey Park was a declining 51 year old apartment complex in an area with a high crime rate and run-down buildings. In 2000, the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority acquired the property and in partnership with the residents, the former Sinclair Gardens was transformed into what is now one of Hampton's most popular neighborhoods.
