DESCRIPTION:
This quiet neighborhood is tucked along the Southwest Branch of the Back River and very close to Langley Air Force Base. Riverpoint also borders one of the cities most beautiful parks, Gosnolds Hold Park. Gosnolds Hope Park is the second largest park in the city consisting of 105 acres. It offers picnic facilities, grills, a public boat ramp, a fitness trail, athletic fields, children's playground, picnic shelters and a BMX track. Most of the houses were built in the 1980's and are a good mix of prices and styles. Bbecause of its location providing quick access to Langley AFB, many retired and active military call this neighborhood home. Some houses in Riverpoint are located on a canal providing easy access for boats to the Chesapeake Bay.
