Kid's Cyber Safety Tips

• Control your child's access to the internet.
• Use a commercial online service that offers parental features.
• Purchase internet blocking software.
• Explore the internet with your child.
• Communicate the dangers of the internet to your child.
• Stress how important it is that your child not give out his or her personal information i.e. name and address.
• Tell your children to never agree to meet anyone face to face that he or she has met online.
• Know your child's friends and their parents. If they have internet access at their home, make sure their parents monitor the computer when children are online.
