To assist local businesses with combating shoplifting, the Hampton Police Division has developed a Citizen Shoplifting Training Bulletin. This Bulletin is designed to be given out to all employees that deal with shoplifting. The bulletin will educate them about the legal definition and elements of shoplifting, decrease the amount of time it takes to file a shoplifting report, and potentially increase the amount of shoplifting convictions.
