The Hampton Crime & Grime Initiative is an aggressive campaign against blighted and repetitive drug properties. It was established to send the message that Hampton has a "No Tolerance" attitude when it comes to Crime and Grime. In order to achieve this shared goal of safe, clean, and livable neighborhoods, we are strategically organizing our resources of city staff, laws, funding, and neighborhood leaders, to establish healthier neighborhoods in Hampton. Under the Crime & Grime Initiative, each neighborhood district has two primary teams: a Patrol Team and a Strategy Team. The Hampton Police Division has partnered with the Neighborhood Office and the Community to attack "Crime and Grime". Hampton Police Officers are assigned to both, the Patrol teams and strategy teams.
