The Hampton Police Division employs approximately 63 civilian employees. Civilian employees perform a multitude of functions with the Police Division, both in clerical and managerial fields. Positions may be full time or part time, working in various branches of the division.

Civilian employees are referred to the Police Division by the City of Hampton Department of Human Resources and are processed by Hampton Police Division procedures.
