At noon today new mayor Molly Joseph Ward, new council member George E. Wallace, and returning council members Ross A. Kearney, II and Angela Lee Leary took their respective oaths of office in council chambers. Joseph H. Spencer, II was elected as the new vice mayor.

The new Hampton City Council will now include:
