Heat Advisory
City Facilities Available to Escape High Temperatures
Due to the unusually high temperatures forecasted through the week, citizens are encouraged to conduct their daily activities with caution to avoid heat-related illnesses. Citizens, especially the elderly, are encouraged to drink plenty of non-caffeinated fluids and avoid prolonged exposure to the heat if possible.
For those seeking shelter from the excessive heat, Hampton community centers and libraries are available. Normal operating hours are:
