Fundraising activity to support the construction of the
City of Hampton's first state-of-the-art Teen Center.

On Saturday, September 16, 2006, The Hampton Youth Commission will host a golf tournament at The Hamptons Golf Course located at 320 Butler Farm Road (off of Magruder Boulevard). Breakfast and check-in will begin at 7:00 a.m. with a Shotgun Start (Captain's Choice format) at 8:00 a.m. There will be a lunch reception, raffle, and silent auction following the tournament at 1:00 p.m.

Prizes for the contests and tournament range from gift certificates, to a chance to win a brand new car! Hole-in-One, the Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin contests are just a few ways you can win the fabulous prizes the Commissioners have in store. Items for the silent auction include river cruises, family attraction packages, and much more.

The cost for a team of four adult players is $220 which includes breakfast, golf, and lunch reception. For participation in the lunch reception and silent auction only, the cost is $15.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the opening of the City of Hampton's first state-of-the-art Teen Center, anticipated by the city's youth for the past 10 years. Plans call for a wireless computer café, library for college preparatory resources, a fully equipped performance stage and sound studio, visual arts studio, kitchen, recreation lounge, swimming pool, and so much more. All are encouraged to come out and enjoy the food, fun, and the green-- Be a part of the magic!
