Buckroe Pier Meeting

Construction of the new Buckroe Pier is scheduled to begin in January, with completion in the summer of 2008. This pier will replace the wooden pier destroyed by Hurricane Isabel in 2003. It will be built south of Resort Boulevard in the area where the former pier was located.

Citizens are invited to view the conceptual plans for the Buckroe Pier and related site work, and to provide comments or ask questions of city staff.

City staff from Engineering Services, Planning, and Economic Development will be in attendance.
