CinéBistro at Peninsula Town Center to Open June 25

The much-anticipated arrival of the 48,000-square foot CineBistro at Peninsula Town Center in Hampton, featuring eight upscale, dine-in theatres and a boutique bowling alley, will be this Friday, June 25.
With a chef-inspired menu, premium cocktails, an expansive wine list and 40-inch leather seats with swing-away dining tables, the CinéBistro experience will be unlike anything in Hampton Roads. This is the fourth CinéBistro location in the country (others are in Miami and Tampa) but the first to include a nine-lane, state-of-the-art bowling alley. Additional CinéBistro locations are planned to open in Richmond and Vail later this year.
“CinéBistro will be an intimate, up-scale experience, different than anything in this area,” says Jeremy P. Welman, COO of Birmingham, Alabama-based Cobb Theatres, the owner and operator of CinéBistro. “We are excited to bring it to the Peninsula Town Center.”
Guests will be welcomed on a walk-in basis, although theatre reservations are recommended due to limited seating. Unlike many theatres, seat assignments are selected during purchase. For in-theatre dining, guests must arrive at least 30 minutes before show time. Ticket pricing varies by day and time, and children’s pricing is available; however, after 6 p.m., CinéBistro is only open to adults over the age of 21.
The CinéBistro menu features a selection of “Previews” (appetizers) like the Ginger Tuna and Salmon Spring Roll and the Sweet and Spicy Wings served with a creamy mango-mint dipping sauce. Popular “Features” (entrees) include the BBQ Pork Rib Stack made with a Cherry Coca-Cola™ BBQ sauce and the Churrasco Steak & Frites, a grilled flank steak with a roasted tomato Chimichurri sauce. The menu also includes a selection of sandwiches, salads, soft drinks, coffees, desserts and “Cinéssentials” (candy).
“We’re thrilled that Cobb Theatres is bringing this concept to our development,” says Raymond Tripp, General Manager of Peninsula Town Center. “We have said from the beginning that the Town Center would offer unique attractions, and CinéBistro certainly fits that description.”
