Construction on Teen Center Progressing

Construction inside the Hampton Teen Center is currently underway and on track for reaching completion by Spring 2009. On Friday, August 5 city and community representatives gathered at the building, located at 300 Butler Farm Road, for a "wallbreaking" to celebrate the beginning of construction.

Hard hat tours are still possible, so if you would like to see the transformation of the former Sentara Fitness Center into its new use, call 728-3280 to schedule a presentation or a tour.
