Hampton City Council Seeks City Council Candidates

The Hampton City Council is now accepting applications for a City Council seat which will become vacant on September 30, 2007. The term will end on June 30, 2008.

Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• U.S. citizen;
• Resident of Hampton;
• Eighteen (18) years of age or older;
• Registered voter in Virginia; and
• Qualified to vote in Hampton Councilmanic elections.

Individuals wishing to be considered must send a letter of interest and resume which must be received by 12 noon on Friday, September 14, 2007, to:
