Hampton to Debut Streaming Internet Video

The City of Hampton is excited to announce the debut of streaming internet video on its website at www.hampton.gov. These videos will highlight everything Hampton to include beautiful beaches, parks and recreation, technology, economic development, and quality of life topics.

Community groups and area businesses will have the opportunity to participate as sponsors, having 30 to 60 second videos created highlighting their own organizations. These videos will be featured adjacent to Hampton's community videos.

This service is provided to the city at no cost thanks to a program with CGI Communications. CGI works in partnership with the United States Conference of Mayors and numerous municipal leagues.

"These videos will offer citizens and visitors to Hampton a chance to see everything we have to offer in our city," said Mayor Ross A. Kearney, II. "In turn, area businesses will have the opportunity to be featured as sponsors."

This new video-enhanced web site is anticipated to debut in the coming months.
