Elizabeth Kersey Selected as Director of Inter-governmental Affairs

Elizabeth Kersey has been selected as the Director of Inter-governmental Affairs for Hampton, effective November 13.

Kersey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Old Dominion University. Prior to her position with the city, Kersey was the Director of Government Relations and Communications for the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. She has also held the position of Director of Governmental Relations for Old Dominion University.

As the Director of Government Relations, Kersey will act as a liaison for Hampton with state and federal legislative bodies and agencies and prepare the proposed legislative package for City Council approval.
