17th Annual Halloween Bash

Hey Goblins! Grab your ghouls and make your way to the Virginia Air & Space Center for a spooktacular celebration at the 17th Annual Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 25, 2008, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Enjoy safe trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, creepy make-and-take activities, spooky feely stations, the skeleton crew of a ghost plane and a wacky wizard’s castle. Participate in costume contests for all ages and win great prizes! You can also take a ride through a Haunted Mine motion simulator for only $3. The Hampton Sheriff’s Office will also be on-hand with their Child ID Program.
The Bash continues with participating Downtown Hampton restaurants and shops that support safe trick-or-treating at their businesses from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Participating Trick-or-Treat businesses include: State Farm Insurance, Olde Hampton Quilt Shoppe, Distinctive Memories, Shabby Chic, She Sells Sea Shells, Something Different, Cabbages and Kings, Best of British, Blue Skies Gallery, Moon Star Restaurant and Old Point National Bank. Downtown Hampton Trick-or-Treat is open to the public and maps are available at the Virginia Air & Space Center.
Space is limited and advance tickets are encouraged! Order tickets online at www.vasc.org or call 727-0900, ext. 782. The Halloween Bash is $5 in advance and $7 at the door. The Virginia Air & Space Center is located at 600 Settlers Landing Road in Downtown Hampton. Take I-64 to exit 267 and follow Settlers Landing Road. The Center will be on the left.
The 17th Annual Halloween Bash is presented by the Virginia Air & Space Center, 106.9 The Fox, Langley Federal Credit Union, Farm Fresh, Larry King Legal Services, Coca Cola, Carpet Mill Outlet and Big Top Entertainment.
