Hampton Minority Business Recognized
at Virginia Black Expo 2010 Awards Breakfast


Ernest Green Jr., President/CEO of E&E Enterprises Global, Inc. was recognized at the African American Business Award Breakfast on August 19 during the Virginia Black Expo 2010 and presented with the Business Leadership Award by the City of Hampton for his outstanding vision, dedication and commitment to the Hampton business community.

Green started E&E Enterprises Global in 1998 after retiring from the military after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force. The company initially started in a home office with only himself as an employee has since grown to 40 employees and 25 consultants.

E&E Enterprises Global is an information technology, cyber security, and a satellite and terrestrial telecommunication service and equipment provider. The company has a "Science and Technology Campus" located in Langley Research and Development Park in Hampton consisting of four buildings totaling over 27,000 square feet of office space located on 2.74 acres. The company continues to expand and is currently building a 2,200 square foot executive suite on to the 6,600 square foot headquarters building.

From startup to a nationwide technical firm that has now moved on to international technical markets and has been profitable each year, E&E Enterprises Global has doubled its revenues every year for the past three years. E&E Enterprises Global has been ranked by Inc. Magazine as 19th out of 100 fastest growing telecom companies in the US. The firm was awarded by Virginia Business, Virginia Small Business Success Story of the Year 2008, Hampton Roads Region Semifinalist.

The Black Expo is sponsored by the Hampton Roads regional cities. The purpose of the Black Expo is to promote economic development through increased exposure for minority-owned businesses. The Black Expo is the largest event of its kind that directly targets the African-American community.
