Hampton Wins Award for Best Neighborhood Program of the YearJune 20, 2007The Neighborhoods, USA (NUSA) Board of Directors at its annual conference held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana selected the City of Hampton - Sold On Hampton Program as the Best Neighborhood Program of the Year by a Government Entity. New for 2007, the Best Neighborhood Program award recognized outstanding programs implemented to improve neighborhoods by a government entity or business/corporation. A distinguished panel of judges selected Hampton over four other finalists in this category. Each of the finalists were invited to make presentations at the annual conference and the winners were honored at the closing luncheon held on Saturday, May 26th. We were all excited about the win! Hampton continues to be a hit with NUSA.more to come when Hampton host's the conference in May, 2008.
