Hampton Receives Hermes Creative Award
The City of Hampton’s Community and International Relations office was recently chosen as a recipient of the Hermes Creative Awards. The office received the Gold Award in Newspaper Advertising for its Hampton City Channel-47 ad, which appeared in the Daily Press.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. The awards recognize companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. There were approximately 3,700 entries from throughout the United States and several countries in this year’s competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers.
The Hermes Creative Awards program is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. This international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, and free-lance professionals.
