New Eatery Opened At Peninsula Town Center


New eatery Kenji Fusion celebrated its grand opening on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Hampton's Peninsula Town Center with a full night of delicious food and fun-filled entertainment. Hampton's Vice Mayor, George Wallace cut the official opening ribbon and guests then sampled menu items and enjoyed a traditional Chinese Lion Dance.

Kenji Fusion is a high-end Asian bistro featuring Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes along with French and Brazilian cuisine as well. The Sushi bar boasts exotic offerings such as Torched Tuna, Yellowtail Jalapeno and Sashimi. Entrees include Salmon Shogayaki, Peking Duck, Grand Mariner Shrimp and Vegetable Teriyaki.

The restaurant also features an extensive Hibachi menu and more than a dozen noodle and rice dishes. Appetizers include six soups such as Pumpkin, Seafood Bean and Thai Tom along with Japanese Seaweed and Green Papaya Salads. There are also eight Weight Watcher meals. Guests will enjoy the high energy Teppanyaki style where skilled chefs prepare food and entertain customers table-side.

The 1.1-million-square-foot Peninsula Town Center is located off of Mercury Boulevard at the I-64 Interchange in Hampton's Coliseum Central Business District. The 75-acre mixed-use project features 340,000 square feet of fashion and specialty retail, 55,000 square feet of restaurant and dining, 400,000 square feet of traditional/anchor retail, 115,000 square feet of Class A office space and 158 residential apartment units.
