Main Hampton Public Library Renovations

The Main Hampton Library, located at 4207 Victoria Boulevard, is undergoing major renovations which began earlier this month (March). The 22 year-old building is receiving its first facelift since its initial construction in 1987.

Renovations will include new carpet, walls coverings, improved lighting, updated computer labs, improvements to the quiet study area and an overall more modern appearance. In addition, the Children's Department will be going through a lot of exciting changes to enhance early childhood learning and family literacy activities. There will also be improved display shelving in the best sellers, DVD, and audio book areas which are the most popular among library patrons.
