Media & Community Relations Department

In an effort to better reflect the offerings of the department, Hampton has renamed the Office of Community and International Relations to Media & Community Relations.

Led by Special Assistant to the City Manager Dianne Randall Foster, the Media & Community Relations Department will continue to focus on its mission to enhance the mutual understanding, cooperation, and goodwill between the City of Hampton government and the citizens of local, national, and international communities through on-going information and media communications. 

The office encompasses the Hampton City Channel, University Relations, and the Citizen’s Unity Commission.
