North King Street Corridor Public MeetingsFebruary 3, 2006Urban Design Associates (UDA), hired by the City of Hampton to develop a Master Plan for the North King Street Corridor, is coming to town this month. The goal of this plan is to identify strategies for the corridor which will enhance and support overall health of the adjacent neighborhoods. During the master planning process there are three phases. This first phase is focused on gathering data and getting input and ideas. During this phase residents and stakeholders will have an opportunity to tell the City and UDA what they like, dislike, and things they would like to see changed on the corridor. The consultant will then take this information back with them to help them move forward in developing drawings and preliminary design concepts for the study area. Residents and stakeholders have two opportunities for public comment:
Tuesday, February 14, 2006
Wednesday, February 15, 2006
Both meetings will be held at John Tyler Elementary School, 57 Salina Street. |
