Sister City Program

Are you interested in enhancing understanding and appreciation of arts, cultures, and societies of the world?

The City of Hampton is looking for business members, foreign nationals, educators, and Hampton citizens to serve on a work group for its Sister City Program.

Sister Cities programs often focus on developing economic partnerships to spur business development; building people-to-people connections; providing assistance to newly forming communities or those changing form of governance; and, provide assistance to those in need throughout the world.

The Hampton City Council has agreed that a review of our current programs and potential future efforts should be done. The work group will be tasked with developing a Strategic Business Action Plan. The Plan should help build community participation and financial support for future efforts.
