Virginia's Elementary Technology Teacher of the YearAugust 7, 2007Mary Hurst, technology teacher at Cooper Elementary Magnet School for Technology, has been chosen as Virginia's Elementary Technology Teacher of the Year by the Virginia Technology Education Association (VTEA). The award is one of the highest honors given to technology education teachers and is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions to the profession. VTEA is a non-profit organization that represents more than 1,000 Virginia educators.
