Volunteer Program
Like to play and work outdoors? Love talking with and meeting new people? Enjoy caring for furry animals and other critters? Well, we may have just the opportunity for you to help us out while having fun, learning new things and meeting new people!
Sandy Bottom Nature Park and Bluebird Gap Farm are in constant need of volunteers just like you who help us maintain these wonderful facilities for the public's enjoyment. Volunteers also receive special privileges such as special discounts, surprise gifts and awards after reaching a certain amount of hours. Also, volunteers are able to attend our yearly Volunteer Thank You Banquet/Party, which is always a lot of fun!! The banquet gives you the chance to meet other volunteers you may not have known before and awards are presented for categories such as "Volunteer of the Year" and many others.

Junior Volunteers

Must carry a GPA of C or above -

We will review your application, check references and call you to set up an interview and a tour of the park. Please note: the City of Hampton is required to complete a background check on volunteers as needed. Also, a fifteen dollar membership fee will be needed to join the volunteer programs, projects and special events excluded. We look forward to hearing from you.
