The staff will keep a first aid kit on hand at all times. Our staff is also trained in first aid procedures. A child will not be admitted to the Hampton Parks and Recreation program with any of the following symptoms: severe cold, severe sore throat, fever of over 100-degrees Fahrenheit or above; vomiting, undiagnosed rash, diarrhea, or lice. When a child is not feeling well, the parent/guardian or the emergency contact person will be called. Please make arrangements to pick your child up within 1 hour of the call. If a child is absent because of an infectious disease, they may not return to the program without a note from the physician indicating the child's condition is no longer contagious.
