WHAT:- An opportunity for low-income homebuyers to obtain financial assistance in purchasing a home.

- Low-income homebuyers interested in purchasing a home in the Housing Venture neighborhoods may qualify.
- WHY:
- Allow Hampton's working families to purchase a home in two neighborhoods near downtown.
- WHEN:
- Currently available to all homebuyers interested in purchasing in the Venture areas.
- WHERE:
- Two downtown neighborhoods, Pasture Point and Olde Hampton.
- INCENTIVES:
Qualify for up to the lesser of $20,000 or 20% of the sales price of the home.
Down-payment assistance to lower the overall cost of buying a home.
Closing costs assistance to help overcome the upfront costs of buying a home.
Pre-purchase homebuyer workshops to educate potential homebuyers.
Inspection to ensure that the home meets basis Housing Quality Standards (does not replace a Home Inspection).
