Homeowner Rehabilitation Loan
WHAT:- An opportunity for low-income homeowners to receive a deferred, no interest loan for the rehabilitation and modernization of their homes.
- WHO:
- Low-income homeowners in Housing Venture neighborhoods may qualify.
- WHY:
- Improve the quality of home and allow residents to make desired improvements that are consistent with the Design Guidelines for Hampton Neighborhoods.
- WHEN:
- Currently available to all residents in the Venture areas.
- WHERE:
- Two downtown neighborhoods, Pasture Point and Olde Hampton.
- INCENTIVES:
Quality for up to a $50,000 deferred no interest loan.
Consultations with homeowners to determine desired improvements
to include expansion or rehabilitation of existing single-family homes.
Field survey measurements to develop existing floor plans and elevations as required.
Construction management services to review material choices choose finishes or
resolve design related issues that arise during construction.
