New Home Construction Breaks Ground in Downtown Neighborhood

Two new homes will soon break ground as part of the city's neighborhood revitalization program in the Hampton Housing Venture neighborhood of Olde Hampton. The houses are being built by the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority and are just a short walk from downtown and located in one of Hampton's oldest and friendliest neighborhoods. Careful planning by the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Planning Department and Neighborhood Office contributed to thoughtful designs blending new construction with the historical significance of existing homes.
